- From Ubayy ibn Kaʿb, that the Prophet said: ‘Whoever recites Sūrat al-Nūr will be given ten rewards for every single believer that has been and will be.’[1]
- From ʿAbd-Allāh ibn Miskān, that Imam al-Ṣādiq (a) said: ‘Protect your wealth and your chastity by reciting Sūrat al-Nūr. And protect with it the chastity of your women. Whoever recites it continually every night or every day, then no one from his household would commit adultery. When the time of his death arrives, 70,000 angels will accompany his funeral procession, praying for him and seeking forgiveness from God for his sake, until he is placed in his grave.’[2]
