وَيُسقَونَ فيها كَأسًا كانَ مِزاجُها زَنجَبيلًا

EXEGESIS

Zanjabīl is the Arabic term for the spice ginger. It is delicious, prevents certain ailments, and enhances flavour.^{‎[su_tooltip content=”Tabrisi, 10/620.”][1][/su_tooltip]} Arabs were reputed for loving the flavour of zanjabīl.^{‎[su_tooltip content=”Tabrisi, 10/622.”][2][/su_tooltip]} In fact, just as they would use kāfūr flavoured drinks to relax, they would use the zanjabīl flavoured drink to energise themselves.^{‎[su_tooltip content=”Amthal, 19/267.”][3][/su_tooltip]}
