هٰذا ما توعَدونَ لِيَومِ الحِسابِ
This is what you are promised on the Day of Reckoning.
EXEGESIS
This is referring to all the previously listed blessings awaiting the people of heaven. This promise of God is for those who are God-wary, who believe and do good deeds, and will manifest itself on the Day of Reckoning.
The address in the verse has changed from the third person to the first person. This is to emphasise God’s closeness. This emphasis of closeness is appropriate because the verse deals with a promise of God, and a promise is most binding and impressive when done in the presence of both parties.
