- From Ubayy ibn Kaʿb, that the Prophet said: ‘Whoever recites Sūrat Ṣād will be given goodly reward in the weight of all the mountains that God disposed to [Prophet] David, and God will protect him from committing a sin, be it great or small.’[1]Tabrisi, 8/723.
- From Jubayr al-ʿAzramī, that Imam al-Bāqir (a) said: ‘Whoever recites Sūrat Ṣād on the eve of Thursday will be given the good of this world and the next in a way that no person has been given, unless they be a dispatched prophet, or an angel brought near; and God will make them enter into paradise along with anyone that he wishes from his family, even the servant that served him, even if they were not his under his care or of those who should receive intercession, and God will keep him safe on the day of the great terror.’[2]Tabrisi, 8/723; Wasail, 7/412.
