Al-Wāqiʿah – Verse 32

وَفاكِهَةٍ كَثيرَةٍ

And abundant fruits.

EXPOSITION

Heavenly fruits are contrary to the fruits of this world, which are specific to a certain season but hard to find in other seasons. Also, some of them are accompanied by thorns, some cannot be reached by hand, and some involve much expense or hardship to obtain.‎[1] And so is the case with any bounty in this world, which comes with hardship and difficulty.
