وَيَطوفُ عَلَيهِم وِلدانٌ مُخَلَّدونَ إِذا رَأَيتَهُم حَسِبتَهُم لُؤلُؤًا مَنثورًا
They will be waited upon by immortal youths, whom, when you see them, you will suppose them to be scattered pearls.
EXEGESIS
Manthūr (scattered) is a passive participle from the root verb nathara which means scattered. It came to further qualify the pearls, which were likened to the immortal youths that serve the abrār. The imagery of scattered pearls depicts multitude paired with beauty.
