وَإِذا مَرّوا بِهِم يَتَغامَزونَ

And when they passed them by they would wink at each other.

EXEGESIS

Yataghāmazūn is from the root word ghamaza, which means to wink as a sign to ridicule someone. In this context, the transgressors wink at each other when they see the believers to scorn and deride them.^{‎[1]Tabrisi, 10/692.}
