Merits of Sūrat al-Ṭāriq

  1. Ubayy ibn Kaʿb from the Prophet: ‘Whoever recites it will be given a reward ten times that of all the stars in the sky.’[1]
  2. From Imam al-Riḍā (a): ‘Whoever recites [the chapter] wa al-samāʾi wa al-ṭāriq in his obligatory daily prayers, will have on the Day of Resurrection a high-standing and great position with God, and he will be from amongst the friends of the prophets and a companion of theirs in paradise.’[2]

Naturally, such rewards are reserved for those who truly comprehend the surah’s message of God-wariness and manifest its teachings in their actions.
