Al-Balad 90:20

عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌ مُّؤْصَدَةٌۢ ﴿٢٠﴾

[Imposed] upon them will be a closed fire.

Exegesis

Muʾṣadah (closed) means to be covered over, as such it indicates that these individuals will be entangled in the hellfire with layers of fire above them.1 Another opinion, attributed to Muqātil, is that it means locked upon them, and thus the verse seems to emphasise that these people will have no way out of hellfire.2
