Al-Tīn: Merits
It has been reported from Prophet Muhammad (s): ‘One who recites this chapter, God will bestow on him two qualities whilst he is in this world: health and certainty. And after death, God will grant him the reward of a day of fasting for every person who has recited this chapter.’1
It is narrated from Imam al-Ṣādiq (a): ‘Whoever recites Sūrat al-Tīn in their obligatory and recommended prayers, God will bless them with paradise until they are satisfied.’2
The Prophet is reported to have said: ‘Whoever recites Sūrat al-Tīn, God will reward them abundantly and they are as if they have encountered Prophet Muhammad (s); and if they are sad, God will alleviate their sadness.’3
