- It is narrated that the Prophet said: ‘The one who recites this chapter, God, the all-mighty, would quench him from the sealed nectar on the Day of Judgement.’
- Ṣafwān al-Jammāl narrated that Imam al-Ṣādiq (a) said: ‘The one who recites in his obligatory prayer Woe to the defrauders [Sūrat al-Muṭaffifīn], God would give him security from the fire on the Day of Judgement. Neither will it see him, nor will he see it. He will pass over the bridge of hell, and will not have to go through the reckoning on the Day of Judgement.’
Note: Such reward is meant for those who use the recitation of this surah as the first step to implement its teachings in their lives and follow its guidance.
- It is narrated that Ibn Masʿūd said: ‘Prayer is a measure; whoever fulfils his measure, God fulfils for him, and whoever diminishes then you have already heard what God said about those who diminish (al-muṭaffifūn).’
