قالَ أَلَم أَقُل إِنَّكَ لَن تَستَطيعَ مَعِيَ صَبرًا

He said: ‘Did I not say, indeed you cannot have patience with me?’

EXPOSITION

Khiḍr (a) reminded Moses (a) that he had warned him he would not be able to bear patiently, because he lacked the understanding and knowledge regarding what was happening.
