Insights from Hadith

Insight from hadith tries to give an account of the narrations related to the verse in question reported from the Prophet (s) or the Shi’a Imams (a). It may be a direct interpretation or clarification of the verse, or may include narrations elaborating on certain concepts in the verse. It also includes reports about the cause of revelation and the chronology of the verse if available. In this section you may find notes removing probable misunderstandings caused by the narrations or clarifying possible difficulties involved in some of them. Although we have not concerned ourselves in this section about the chain of transmission of the reports, however, we have tried to avoid clearly weak, controversial, and sectarian narrations.
