- From Ubayy ibn Kaʿb, that the Prophet said: ‘Whoever recites this surah, God will grant them reward equivalent to the number of every Friday and every Day of ʿArafah that occurs in this worldly life, ten good deeds [for each].’
- From Yūnus ibn Ẓibyān, that Imam al-Ṣādiq (a) said: ‘Whoever recites By the sky with its houses in their obligatory prayers – since it is the surah of the prophets – they will be gathered and shall stand on the Day of Judgement with the prophets, messengers, and the righteous.’
Naturally, such merits can only be for the one who has taken heed of the surah’s lessons.
